Two global institutions, MetLife & Techstars, teamed up to launch an insurance tech startup accelerator to deepen connections with industry experts, explore innovation in the insurance industry and help grow businesses to their full potential. Union’s Studio team became their brand partner to design a pillar-positioned animation that would help create excitement and engagement around the accelerator while extending the brand’s physical presence through motion.

This design choice would promptly capture the viewer's attention in the lobby while incorporating MetLife’s colors that speak to its core values of innovation, growth &amp; vitality.

As a recognized financial services powerhouse in a changing world, Metlife wanted to find an exciting way to advertise their new digital accelerator. The goal was to create a visual experience that not only captured people’s attention but connected viewers to the live landing page and social media around the event. Union’s answer was to build a custom, loopable screen animation for the monument wall, located in the lobby of MetLife's Cary campus in North Carolina. By combining key elements of the Metlife brand with the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship, our Studio team wanted to create an installation that could present the accelerator in a manner that would be simultaneously stimulating, informative and welcoming from the minute viewers stepped into the building.
