Union Takes Home Eight Telly Awards in 2022

<p dir="ltr">Union just took home eight <a href="https://www.tellyawards.com/">Telly Awards</a>, which honor excellence in video and television. The program annually receives more than 12,000 entries across five continents and selects works from advertising agencies, television stations, production companies and publishers that create work for any screen.</p>
<p dir="ltr">As a creative and performance agency with a growing list of studio production projects, we were pleased to win a range of awards, including the following:</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">Gold Winner in Regional TV - Visual Effects and Silver Winner in Regional TV - Videography / Cinematography for “You’ve Got the Power,” a project for NRG.</h2>
<p dir="ltr">NRG, a leading home energy supplier, is working to educate consumers that they have the power to choose their energy provider, plus earn rewards for the energy they use at home. We worked with NRG to script and shoot “You’ve Got The Power,” a broadcast and digital video that could be used across multiple markets and channels. This upbeat spot leveraged one of NRG’s strongest brand elements, colorful energy shapes, in a fresh way by bringing them into the real world and directly connecting them to the use of home electricity and natural gas.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">Silver Winner in Online Commercials - Household Products/Packaged Goods for “Mold Monster,” a project for Diversey’s RestorOx brand.</h2>
<p dir="ltr">Diversey is a leading provider of cleaning and hygiene products across a variety of sectors, including facility management. We worked with them to reimagine the power of RestorOx™ disinfectant cleaner, which kills, prevents and cleans mold and mildew.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Using mold as our paint and walls as our canvas, this animation concept played up the ominous, lurking threat of mold and the damage it causes. By positioning the product as the next line of defense against the threat, the visuals showcase RestorOx™ itself as the trusted answer to any mold or mildew risk.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">Gold Winner in Non-Broadcast - Art Direction and Silver Winner in Non-Broadcast - Use of Animation for “Wall of Lights,” a project for Randolph Community College.</h2>
<p dir="ltr">When Randolph Community College added a state-of-the-art medical building to their campus, Union helped them bring to life a 30-foot-by-18-foot LED wall that could inspire students entering the building. Our production team partnered with an architectural firm to create medically-themed vignettes that changed colors according to the time of day. We added a secondary display to communicate real-time weather updates as well as class schedules.</p>
