Announcing the 2019 Kelly Somey Digital Marketing Scholarship Application

<p>Love digital marketing? So do we. That’s why our annual Kelly Somey Digital Marketing Scholarship rewards a college-bound student who is interested in pursuing a digital marketing career and has a deep passion for creativity.</p>
<h2>Scholarship Eligibility</h2>
<p>To be eligible to receive this scholarship, you must be a high school senior (or have recently graduated) based in the U.S. You must also be interested in pursuing a creative career in the digital space. Union will review all applications and select one recipient to receive the $1,000 scholarship.</p>
<p>This scholarship will be awarded before fall.</p>
<h2>Background</h2>
<p>This scholarship honors Kelly Somey, a former high school art teacher who inspired Union’s founder to seek a path after graduation driven by creativity. Mr. Somey was a dedicated mentor and teacher who went above and beyond to provide guidance to students looking to develop their talents and pursue careers in creative fields.</p>
<h2>Recipients Will Receive</h2>
<p>A scholarship worth $1,000 to go toward their college expenses.</p>
<h2>Deadline</h2>
<p>The deadline for entries is June 30, 2019.</p>
<h2>How to Apply</h2>
<p>Please submit a 300-500-word essay describing your passion for creativity (bonus points for a focus on digital!) that also highlights your goals and any teachers or mentors who have helped you along the way. </p>
